The M-Series Engines:
We introduced Brushless technology with both Starter Motors and FuelPumps, a proprietary single wire digital bus, giving very reliable communication between engine and ECU.
Our system is comparable to those used in Formula 1 and high end automobiles. Our proprietary Bus System is immune to external electromagnetic noise and extremely low radiated energy.
Sensors and valves are installed inside all our engines, simplifying end user installation.
Our engines have solitary fuel input and a single plug consisting of a 3-wire cable to supply the previously mentioned digital information and power to the engine.
All measures and data between engine and ECU are transmitted in digital format.
All XBL Engine parameters and timers are stored within the Engine ECU, while installation parameters (radio settings, etc.) are stored in the External ECU, enabling engine sharing without further adjustment.
All our engines also have CNC machined Compressors.

Like all other JetsMunt engines, the M166XBL use the same technology of brushless starters and pumps, coupled with our proprietary single wire digital bus, a very reliable communications system comparable to those used in high end cars and professional machines, immune to external electromagnetic noise and extremely low radiated energy.
Sensors and valves are installed inside the motor, simplifying installation. The engine has only one fuel input directly from the pump, and a 3-wire electrical connection to the ecu that carries the battery power and a bidirectional digital bus. All measures and data from the engine are transmitted to the ecu in digital data format.
All engine parameters and timers are stored within the engine, installation parameters (radio settings,etc) are stored in the External ecu, enabling the swap of the engine without any adjustment. One engine can now be relocated in multiple airframes, additional Pump and External ECU are the only additions needed.
This engine has dual igniter that allows a very fast start up sequence, typical 35 seconds, fast restart time of below 15 seconds plus adding the extra reliability in the case of a single igniter failure.

After 10 years of production of the M160, it was time for a full upgrade. The new engine has received a state of the art, all new electronics package, the M200 has received the new XBUS system, integrated valves, brushless starter motor and brushless pump. Sensors and valves are installed inside the engine, further simplifying installation.
The engine has a single fuel input directly from the pump, and a 3-wire electrical connection to the ecu that carries the battery power and a bidirectional digital bus. All engine data is transmitted to the ecu in a digital data format, using a high speed propietary protocol specially developped for this application. The bus design allows a distance up to 15meters from engine to ecu while keeping the generated noise by the bus to a very low level to not affect other devices nor to be affected by them. All engine parameters and timers are stored within the engine, installation parameters (radio settings,etc) are stored in the External ecu, enabling the swap of the engine without any adjustment.
